Enjoy a foreign film followed by a discussion and nibbles. Film titles will be advised closer to each screening date.

The Foreign Film group is scheduled to meet on the third Thursday of each month, 7.30pm – 10.30pm in the Chandler Room.  Participants are invited to go on a supper roster on occasion to supply the nibbles.

Please note that bookings are essential.  Please book via our website if you can.

  • 17 February 2022  – German film Labyrinth if Lies: a remarkable true story of the pursuit for justice for the victims of Auschwitz.
  • 17 March 2022 – The Truffle Hunters is a 2020 documentary film following a group of men hunting in the woods of Northern Italy, for a prized quarry, the Alba truffle
  • 19 May 2022 – De Gaulle: WWII drama depicting a crucial period in the life of one of modern French history’s most famous figures
