Enjoy a foreign film followed by a discussion and nibbles. Film titles will be advised closer to each screening date.
The Foreign Film group is scheduled to meet on the third Thursday of each month, 7.30pm – 10.30pm in the Chandler Room. Participants are invited to go on a supper roster on occasion to supply the nibbles.

- 17 February 2022 – German film Labyrinth if Lies: a remarkable true story of the pursuit for justice for the victims of Auschwitz.
- 17 March 2022 – The Truffle Hunters is a 2020 documentary film following a group of men hunting in the woods of Northern Italy, for a prized quarry, the Alba truffle
- 19 May 2022 – De Gaulle: WWII drama depicting a crucial period in the life of one of modern French history’s most famous figures
- 16 June 2022 – Read my Lips: 2001 French Film, staring Vincent Cassel as Paul, an ex-con on parole, and Emmanuelle Devos as Carla, a nearly deaf secretary whose colleagues treat her disrespectfully,
- 21 July 2022 – I’m your Man: 2021 German Comedy, staring Dan Stevens, playing a robot in this sci-fi rom-com, assigned to live with an unenthused scientist (Maren Eggert) as part of an experiment.
- 18 August – Heroic Losers: 2019 Argentinean light drama. Set in the times of the infamous Argentinian Corralito, the neighbours of a little town trace a plan to recover the money they lost after learning that their bank manager and a corrupt lawyer have stolen it.
- 15 September – The Taste of Others: 2000 French comedy. The lives of 6 people over 35 in Rouen, France, and their relationship to each other as the main character attempts to learn English.
- 20 October – While at War: (Spain) A drama set in Spain on the eve of the Spanish Civil War
- 17 November – Little Nicholas’ Treasure: A French comedy about a young boy who causes endless problems for his long suffering parents.
