You must be an annual member to participate in ongoing term classes at the Neighbourhood Centre.

Children Creative

Wednesdays 4pm-5pm during term time

Develop your child’s individual creativity and self-expression in our weekly mixed media class that covers watercolour and acrylic painting, drawing skills, pastels, graphite and markers.

Tutor Naomi is both an accomplished artist and art teacher who has extensive experience working with children.

Topics Covered in Term 1 include:    Shading (graphite), Crosshatch (pen/pencil/marker), Landscape (Watercolour – oil pastel), Picasso (Acrylic paint ), Portraits (collage), Observational (watercolor), Perspective (pencil/pen – watercolour), Cartoon (Acrylic), Abstract – texture/layering (Oil pastel) and Line drawing (pen/marker – oil pastel).
