It can be difficult to plan, both financially and emotionally for the move into an aged care facility. When the time comes, you may find yourself being confronted with a complex range of questions and decisions.
This workshop will assist you to understand the steps involved in determining the type of care needed. We’ll discuss fees that may be payable within a subsidised residential aged care facility, such as paying an upfront accommodation deposit, on-going care fees and other out of pocket expenses. We’ll look at the impact that this change may have on Centrelink income support and options to be considered to maximise this.
Run by Emanouel Hatzimanolis from Ridgeline Wealth Solutions in the Surrey Hills Village, this session is designed for those who are beginning the planning process for aged care and for those who are caring for someone who might need to access aged care.
