Dear tutors, members and volunteers
As you know, all non-essential organisations have been instructed to shut down, so we are now in the process of transitioning all viable courses offsite via ZOOM. A viable course is one where we have minimum numbers re-enrolled for next term. Tutors are encouraged as soon as possible to familiarise themselves with ZOOM and to let us know if they need support installing and using it. We are very happy to help anyone who needs help with it as our preference is to have courses continue offsite and online, to keep our members engaged and connected, and to continue to provide an income to our tutors.
We will advise tutors and participants today if their course or program is continuing next term. For those courses that aren’t continuing, and where payments have been made, we will carry forward those payments unless a refund is specifically requested. We thank those participants who have re-enrolled.
All courses from midday today will not run at the Centre.
We are not closing down. The Centre will run remotely from 10am-2pm Monday to Friday. We will be contactable via mobile phone number and email between these times. Yes, the Centre will be physically closed but we can be flexible about any requests or needs that arise on an as needs basis.
Please keep in mind that if you need any assistance about anything at all, or if you know anyone who needs help, or wants to chat, please contact us by email to reception@surreyhillsnc.org.au or by mobile to 0424 857 035 from tomorrow. We have a wonderful array of volunteers ready to help.
Please stay safe and please look out for each other. And remember, we are still here to help.
Kind regards
Shima Ibuki   · Centre Manager
