Gabriel trained as a chef in several of the top restaurants in France, arriving in Australia in 1977 with his Australian wife, Angie. Soon after, Gabriel began to freelance as a chef consultant, cooking demonstrator, writer and broadcaster.
He is one of Australia’s best-selling cookery authors. His 24 cookbooks have sold well over one million copies. His latest book is ‘So French, So Sweet’.
